142 Throckmorton Theatre must raise more than half of our annual operating budget through fundraising. So much of what we do would not be possible without our donors. Our programs span, across the creative spectrum, from our youth education and season of theatre productions, to our free Noon Concerts, our Jazz Concerts and Tuesday Night Comedy. And all are made accessible to our broadest community members with financial aid, scholarships and our Arts Access Fund.

Raise Our Voices

A special celebratory fundraising event, Raise OUR Voices, is designed to give the community a chance to see and experience some of the young talent as they move through our programs, and also to raise much needed funds to support the high quality we offer. Come and experience first hand the thrill of these young people. Auction items from the surrounding community are often a part of the evening.

Arts Access Initiative

We are committed to reaching and promoting inclusion across ethnic, socio-economic and geographic barriers that divide our community.  Inclusion and diversity among our artists and audiences are essential components of the thriving creative environment that unites our community through the transformative power of the arts. Our Arts Access Initiative as an innovative model for providing free and ready cultural access to the most disadvantaged and underserved members of our community.  Since 2016 we have partnered with service organizations with established relationships to populations of greatest need and we successfully distribute up to 250 complimentary Arts Access Passes each month.

Creative Inspiration Fund

in Honor of Robin Williams

Our Creative Inspiration Fund in Honor of Robin Williams allows us provide programing that allows emerging and established artists the opportunity to take risks, to develop new material and to think outside the box. It provides our audiences with the exhilaration of being witness to innovative craft and the artistic mind. And it allows the artists the freedom to explore and share their stories.

Scholarships and Financial Aid

We give liberally to all those who demonstrate a need for financial support to ensue that all our programs are available to our entire community.
