Evelyne Luest, Piano; Angela Lee , Cello and Mariko Smiley, Violin with guest Sam Oliver, Violin
Pianist Evelyne Luest returns from New York to perform with colleagues and old friends cellist Angela Lee and violinist Mariko Smiley. The three musicians have performed across many continents individually and enjoy collaborating together. They have named their trio "thEMA Ensemble", representing the first letters of their names. The program will include Franz Schubert's Piano Trio in B-flat Major, Opus 99; and a new work for cello and piano written for them by Ukrainian composer, Andy Didorenko.

She is a highly respected Bay Area musician who is in demand for her talent and dedication. She has made our Noon Concerts one of the area’s sought-after engagements for many performers and we are thrilled to have her curating our Season once again.
