ABOUT THE MUSICIANS
The traditional fiddling style of LEAH WOLLENBERG was shaped with a truly American twist, in Berkeley and Oberlin, and has won her acclaim all over the West Coast. She performs and teaches at fiddle camps nationwide and works with Bluegrass icon Laurie Lewis.
Irish accordionist/singer FÉLIM EGAN was born into a musical family in County Offaly. His musical influences are Matt Molley, Tommy Peoples and Frankie Gavin, all virtuoso icons of the Irish traditional scene. He performs on the West Coast with Dublinesque and the Black Brothers.
Guitarist and Irish bouzouki player TEDD COLT has performed all over the world and collaborated with the likes of Breda Smith, Paddy Keenan, and Irish supergroup Dàimh. He also loves to share his passion for Celtic and folk music as a teacher in the Bay Area.
Gypsy jazz violin legend TIM KLIPHUIS hails from Holland and has worked with all the gypsy greats in Europe. He brings the same Parisian joy to his playing as the great French master, jazz violinist Stéphane Grappelli. Tim returns to the States to host another 2 nights of blistering music at the Throckmorton Theater!
American rising guitar star JIMMY GRANT is becoming a household name in the international gypsy jazz scene, with a career that spans the US and Europe. He has played with Paulus Schäfer, Ludovic Beier and David Grisman and toured extensively with Velvet Caravan.
