Tam High Music Director, Spiro Tsingaris

Spiro Tsingaris is Tamalpais High School's long-time (20+ years!) Music Program Director. At Tam High, in addition to Concert Choir, Spiro also teaches the Jazz Band, String Orchestra, Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Guitar/Percussion and Music Tech classes. Additionally, Spiro is an Assistant Conductor with the San Francisco Boys Chorus. This year he was honored to receive Marin Symphony’s 2024-25 Public School Teacher of the Year Award which honors teachers for their dedication to music education and the support they provide to young musicians.
